Giving Back - Statement on the Tragic Loss of Michelle Go

We here at Vino Bambino Winery would like to say a few things about the recent tragic loss of Michelle Alyssa Go that occurred on January 15th 2022.

Michelle Alyssa Go was killed on January 15th when she was shoved into the path of an oncoming subway train at the Times Square station. The suspect is a 61-year-old man who was experiencing homelessness and had a documented history of mental health incidents. He surrendered to police shortly after the killing and has been charged with second-degree murder.

The senseless attack has placed renewed attention on violence affecting Asian Americans across the US. Michelle worked as a senior manager at the financial company Deloitte Consulting. She was also a volunteer advocate for at-risk families and people experiencing homelessness. Michelle should be remembered for how she lived. She was a volunteer advocate for at-risk families and those experiencing homelessness. She was someone who gave back to her community and really cared.

Spreading Awareness & Donations

Vino Bambino Winery would like to do our small part in spreading awareness on this senseless act of violence and to help raise funds for the causes Michelle believed in.

This February, we will be donating 10% of all bottle sales to honor and celebrate the life of Michelle through their family’s official GoFundMe.

These funds will go directly to the causes and communities that honor Michelle’s legacy. Bottles may be purchased at Wine Blending events, online, or in-person via our Wine List.
